Kid Rock, Tom Jones ink Knoxville dates

Kid Rock and Tom Jones will perform in Knoxville in early March.
Kid Rock's Rock & Roll Revival show will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Thompson-Boling Arena, and will include Reverend Run (of Run DMC) and Dickey Betts, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, as opening acts. Rock, who became a star with his 1998 album "Devil With a Cause," last performed on tour in 2007 for troops in Iraq. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Thompson-Boling ticket office and Tickets Unlimited outlets. Ticket prices are $39.50, $32.50 and $24.50, plus service charges
