Kid Rock Raising Money For Injured Iraq Vets

Kid Rock has teamed up with a Peoria radio station to raise money for two residents of central Illinois who were injured while serving in Iraq. According to Radio and Records, people can bid on an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar and a drumhead that have all been autographed by Rock. Bidding started on April 21st and continues through the end of the month, with bids starting at $100 each for the guitars and $50 for the drumhead. All proceeds from the auction will be split evenly between the families of the two veterans.
Kid Rock is currently in the midst of his Rock and Roll Revival Tour in support of his latest album, Rock And Roll Jesus. He plays on Friday (April 25th) in Valley Center, Kansas.
Rock recently extended the tour through the entire summer, with dates now booked into August
