The concert was AWESOME!
Skynard was on for like an hour and a half! So good to watch..
Half way through the Skynard Set I spot....YUP! Champtown!!! So I go to say hi trip on Jens purse go flying out the Isle at him like some half crazed women...all I could manage was a hi! I was so embarassed!
I enjoyed the show but they cut it really short didn't do the opening with Champtown (to my dismay) cut out the banter between Paradime and Kid ( sucks I know.) BUT he did play the drums and Marlons Guitar while it was attached to Marlon. ALOT of people left after Skynard so there was a TON of space around us...I swear on all that is holy...He spotted us! lol
We did manage to get a few photos on Jens Camera..I'm sure she'll post them when she's feeling better. She got sick
we wait for the crowd to clear after the concert cause there was no sense fighting the crowd to get out and Jen spots Peter Wolf on the Floor....So we go over she got her shirt signed...I got the sharpie handed back to me and he walked by...boy made he feel like shit...FAT BITCH IN THE ROOM!
So we went looking for the busses and found them and hung out...Surpisingly there weren't many there...
We saw
Steph, OMG she is so sweet..turns out she lost her camera! Oh my that could spell trouble, I sure hope not! THEN! and you are not going to believe this shit! We asked her why she wasn't wearing her jammies and slipper? Turns out a "co worker" told her she wouldn't be taken seriously if she continued to wear them! Can you fucking believe that??? I told her that I thought it was cool she wore what she wanted and that ultimately she had to be comfortable...and that it was hard enough to play drums in runner let alone fuzzy bunny slippers! haha...She said well then "I am taking it to the internet!" we all said you do that we'll back Ya!
Marlon, (ask Jen about her encounter with him! pretty hot!) Jimmy, Stacy, and Jessie..I think that was it...am I missing someone Jen? OH right Bossy! oh boy was he pissed at something kept walking around in and out doors and I finally said "Boy your sure putting on "the miles tonight!" and he says "Trying to walk off my temper!" We didn't asked him to sign our shirts...didn't think it was safe! Oh and shakes again..he recognized us! came over and chatted..
we saw the others but the went straight to the bus...
Something was going on cause everyone was making strange comments
Peter wolf comes waltzing out...or should I say stumbling...and I say to him will you sign my shirt now please? FUCKER DISSED ME AGAIN! But then again I watched someone taking a picture of him and he was seriously out of it....I think he has a handler...
Kid and Rev left unseen out the other side of the building...never to see him.
we met 2 girls that night and gave them the site address as we had no coolies left so they may stop by! From the Boston area if I remember correctly...
and the BEST PART OF THE NIGHT! Who goes walking by? CHAPMTOWN...love of my life! lol
So brazen me shouts "Do you remember me?" and he says "YA I sure do!" I say "can I ask you a question?" He say of course! Comes over to the gate puts his hand on my arm and I ask "Who's Michelle?" and smile! and he looks at me thinking real hard..you can see he trying to think of who michelle is...So I say "Do you remember signing my shrt?" and he says "YA" so I say "Well you signed it Champtown Loves Michelle and itclearly says Kelly N Jen on the back (I turn around to show him) and he jumps back and says "DAMN! I thought you meant someone on the tour?" starts laughing and apologizes..I said "I forgive you!" so he goes to walk back o the bus still laughing and I yell "It's OK I still Love YA!' and he shouts "I LOVE YOU too.....KELLY!" Everyone starts to laugh! then gets on the bus and sHOUTS "BYE!.....KELLY!" I don't think he'll forget me...
