Had a good thing happen today, at about 10:00 had a customer walk into to the dealership and tell me that he had some friends call him and they had an extra ticket to the Kid Rock concert in Sturgis and he just couldnt drive his pickup there so he wanted a bike........walked up and said I want this Nomad, and 08 red and black one, I said 12.499.00 and he said i will take it, and i will pick it up tomorrow at 9:00 am, as i was in the office doing the paperwork, across the fax came his tempoary insurance cards from his agent.......it just caught me as funny, all for a kid rock ticket!! but it would be a great concert though.
I asked him if he had ridden before and had a licence and he did so that is a good thing, I would hate to sell him a bike and then have bad things happen to him, so it's all good.
one of the easiest sales I have ever made, so i rolled it off the showroom floor and right onto my bench and started the prep work, will button it up tomorrow mornning, and he is even coming back and is then going to buy a 250ulta jet ski, just my lucky day I guess.
The other good thing about it is, it was my last Nomad, just in time to order more at the dealer show in September!!
