Kid Rock to perform at Youth Inaugural Ball
WASHINGTON – Metro Detroit’s own Kid Rock will be among the headliners at the Youth Inaugural Ball at the Washington Hilton on Tuesday night. It’s one of 10 official inaugural balls and will be broadcast beginning at 10 p.m. on MTV.
Other headliners at the ball include Kanye West and Fall Out Boy.
Detroit’s musical tradition will be well represented as inaugural week swings into action – Stevie Wonder is set to perform at Sunday’s opening ceremony concert at the Lincoln Memorial and the Queen of Soul, C.L. Franklin’s little girl Aretha, will be singing “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” at the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.
